Maximum Cover, Minimal Hassle

Protect & Go represents one of our most comprehensive warranty programmes, providing robust protection against the inconvenience and expense of unexpected mechanical or electrical breakdowns, while maintaining a fair and pragmatic approach to claims.

What’s Covered

Protect & Go covers most mechanical and electrical components, including wear and tear of covered parts subject to age and mileage limits.

Cover includes:

  • Mechanical and electrical failures
  • wear & tear on covered components
  • Up to 2 hours of diagnosis and part of a valid claim

Claim limits and labour rates apply – please refer to your agreement certificate.


What’s Not Covered

While Protect & Go is very comprehensive, the following are excluded:

  • Service and maintenance items e.g. filters, fluids, brake pads, wiper blades
  • Bodywork, trim, upholstery and paintwork
  • Glass windscreens, windows, sunroofs, panoramic roofs
  • Pipes, hoses, wiring looms and fixings
  • Wheels and tyres
  • Any pre-existing faults
  • Damage arising from neglect, misuse, the use of incorrect fuel or continued driving after a fault

Breakdown & Recovery Included

Protect & Go includes £100 contribution for recovery as part of a valid claim.

Upgrade to 20-20 Rescue & Recovery from £99 per year for added benefits such as alternative transport, overnight accommodation and mis-fuel cover.

  • UK nationwide recovery (up to 50 miles)
  • Home start assistance

Making a Claim

  1. Contact our claims team as soon as a fault is identified
  2. Use a VAT-registered repairer
  1. Repairs must be authorised before work begins

Eligibility & Policy Information

  • Wear & tear cover applies up to 10 years / 100,000 miles
  • Fixed-term policies that do not auto-renew
