Our Essential Cover provides comprehensive protection against unforeseen mechanical and electrical failures, ensuring that you remain mobile and worry-free. Designed to safeguard you from unexpected repair costs, this cover allows you to drive with complete confidence, knowing that your vehicle is supported by robust and reliable cover.

What’s Covered

Select from Bronze, Silver, or Gold cover levels, with higher tiers providing more comprehensive protection.

Coverage may include key components such as:

  • Engine
  • Manual and automatic gearboxes
  • Drive train
  • Braking system
  • Electrical components
  • Steering and suspension
  • Turbocharger
  • Fuel and cooling systems
  • Selected hybrid and electric vehicle components
  • One hour of diagnostic assessment (Gold level only)

Exact cover depends on your chosen level – please refer to your policy documents.

What’s Not Covered

The policy does not cover wear and tear, as well as routine maintenance items, the following are not included:

  • Glass, trim and bodywork
  • Any pre-existing faults
  • Damage arising from neglect, misuse, or the use of incorrect fuel
  • Oil, filters, and other items required for scheduled servicing or maintenance

Optional Breakdown Cover

Upgrade to 20-20 Rescue & Recovery from £99 per year, including:

  • 24/7 roadside assistance
  • UK nationwide recovery
  • Home call-outs
  • Alternative transport & overnight accommodation

Making a Claim

  1. Contact our claims team as soon as a fault is identified
  2. Repairs must be authorised before work begins
  1. Once approved, repairs can go ahead

Renewal & Policy Information

  • Policies run for a fixed term and do not auto-renew
  • Renewal is subject to vehicle condition and eligibility
